
Members covered by the Training Fund are eligible to take advantage of our continuing education program at the Breslin Learning Center which has a flexible schedule of basic education and college preparatory classes.
The Fund operates its own Learning Center, the Breslin Learning Center, in Center City Philadelphia and classes are available during daytime, evening, and weekend hours. We have experienced, knowledgeable counselors and teachers to assist you.

| Pre-Nursing Classes help to prepare for taking Practical Nursing Entrance Exam Part-time morning and evening classes in English, Mathematics, and Anatomy to prepare for practical nursing training. High School Diploma or GED required and ability to pass admission test (Agency Assessment) which is held on every Wednesday at 3:45 pm and Friday at 8:45 am |

This course is designed to help member-students improve their speaking and listening skills within the context of varied healthcare issues. |

| Spanish for Healthcare Workers This course introduces conversational Spanish to healthcare workers. It provides students with an opportunity to learn medical terminology and basic communication skills to enhance their interaction with Spanish-speaking patients. |

| Sign Language for Healthcare Workers This course offers instruction in introductory sign language followed by intermediate skill acquisition. Students gain a general understanding of this method of communication through study and practice. |
