Making the transition to college is easier now than ever. At the Breslin Learning Center we have offer short, intensive modules to help you prepare academically, increase your confidence and gain the skills you need to succeed.
This is a good way to prepare for the Collegiate Partnership Programs we have
at the Breslin Learning Center. Working in collaboration with area colleges, we now offer a variety of new and exciting programs.
College Prep Skills Module
This course provides an overview of the skills, such as time management and note-taking, that students need to develop in order to succeed in college.
College English Prep Module
Prerequisite: Keyboarding & Word Processing Skills
This course provides students with the necessary instruction to gain the proficiency
needed to succeed in college writing and reading courses.
College Math Prep Module
This course is designed to strengthen students’ arithmetic, geometry and beginning algebra skills to prepare them to take credit level math courses.
Computer Module: International Computer Drivers License
Students use the ICDL sequence of courses to brush-up or learn basic and more advanced computer skills ... learn more
