Nurse Aide Training

These courses introduces students to the nurse aide’s role and function in a variety of settings. Additionally, students focus on developing basic care and nursing skills through lectures, handouts, discussions, and exercises. The course includes classroom work and clinical practice in an institutional setting, preparing students to pass the state’s competency examination.


Tuition Based Nurse Aide Training
Graduates are eligible to take the competency exam to be placed on the the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry
Eligibility
-Ability to pass admissions test
-Ability to attend all scheduled classes
-Ability to submit a satisfacotry physical on Training Fund physical form
-No felonies or disqualifying misdemeanors
$750.00 Tuition plus cost for books and other fees

Union member nurse aideTraining Fund Members Nurse Aide Training
Training Fund members are eligible to utilize tuition reimbursement to take the tuition based nurse aide training.
Eligibility

-Training Fund Members in good standing
-Ability to pass admissions test
-Ability to submit a satisfacotry physical on Training Fund physical form
-No felonies or disqualifying misdemeanors
Tuition $750 tuition reimbursement upon completion of program requirements.
Books and additional costs are to be paid by student. Costs are subject to change.
