James T. Ryan Full Time Scholarship

Full-time members covered by the Training Fund are eligible for this benefit after one year on the job. The benefit includes a book and uniform allowance, continued health and pension benefits, a cost of living stipend and tuition up to $10,000 per year full-time study. The Fund supports study for up to two years. Applications are accepted between September 1-March 1.

To be eligible for the Full Time Scholarship you must be a District 1199C union member employed full time by an employer that contributes to the Training & Upgrading Fund, and have been employed for at least one year.  Members interested in applying must attend an orientation meeting.
